Choose the colour from the bed.
A sample that looks right beside the window can feel quite different behind your headboard. Put colour samples where you see them on waking and at night. Keep bedding, carpet and curtains in view while you compare.
A muted clay, a soft green or a warm neutral can each work, depending on the room. If the bedroom gets little direct light, look at samples with the lamps on as well as in daylight. Pick from the room itself before buying the full quantity.
What the room refresh includes.
The $495 starting scope includes paint and labour, two coats of standard wall paint, small nail-hole filling, floor protection and cleanup. It assumes sound, previously painted walls, a similar colour and ready access. Applicable GST is extra.
Ceilings, doors, trim, closet interiors, major repairs, stain blocking and extra coats are separate. A larger primary bedroom, taller walls or furniture that limits access needs a tailored quote. You can compare all three packages here.
Show the walls behind the furniture.
Move small items for photos where practical. Point out old brackets, wall-mounted televisions, peeling areas and patches, including anything behind a headboard.
Decide what happens to the closet.
Painting the room does not automatically include the closet interior. Tell us whether it will be emptied and whether shelves or doors also need attention.
Plan when the bedroom comes back into use.
Discuss ventilation, the product’s instructions and access before booking. Do not assume touch-dry paint means the room is ready for every normal activity.

Can you paint one bedroom?
Yes. A single-bedroom repaint is within our residential interior service. Text the dimensions and photos to start a quote.
Do I have to take the bed out?
That depends on its size and the room’s layout. Show the furniture in your photos so there is a plan for clear access and protection before work starts.
Should I repaint the ceiling too?
Look at the ceiling beside your proposed wall colour. If it is marked or no longer works with the new shade, ask for it as a separate item. Ceiling work is outside the room refresh’s starting scope.
