START WITH ONE ROOM
From $495
A bedroom or home office ready for a fresh colour.
BEFORE THE BOXES ARRIVE
From $1,795
Fresh walls for a smaller condo before you settle in.
BRING THE ROOMS TOGETHER
From $3,495
A coordinated repaint for a smaller home.
Paint and labour, two coats of standard interior wall paint, small nail-hole filling, floor protection and cleanup.
Ceilings, doors, trim, closet interiors, major repairs, stain blocking, extra coats, high walls and stairwells are quoted separately. Larger homes, occupied spaces and travel outside Calgary may change the price.
Prices are in CAD, plus applicable GST. Starting prices apply to Calgary homes with sound, previously painted walls, ceilings up to 8 ft and a similar-colour repaint. Rooms must be cleared with easy access to every wall. The quote confirms the room list, paint and total before work starts.

The packages above cover straightforward wall repaints within the listed size and access limits. Good Painting quotes projects after discussing the space and the work involved. Your quote depends on the rooms, surfaces and preparation involved. To start a quote, call or text 587-804-9266 with your community, rooms and preferred timing.
A small room with straightforward access may require a different amount of work from a room with tall walls, many doors or areas needing correction. A floor-area figure alone does not tell you whether a price includes ceilings, trim, closets or repairs.
| Detail | What to share |
|---|---|
| Rooms and surfaces | Name each room and list walls, ceilings, trim and doors separately. |
| Existing condition | Photograph patch edges, damage, stains and areas where the finish is failing. |
| Access | Show stairwells, tall walls, furniture and built-ins. |
| Colour change | Share the current colour and your proposed colour or direction. |
| Occupancy | Say whether you will be living in the home during the work. |
| Location and dates | Include your community, travel location and any fixed deadline. |
When comparing estimates, ask whether the measurement refers to floor area or the actual surface being painted. Also check ceiling height and which surfaces the rate covers. Two identical-looking rates can describe different work.
Do the same for a “room price.” A quote for bedroom walls may exclude its ceiling, closet, door and trim. Keep those details beside the total so you can compare estimates without guessing.
Separate the work you need now from the work you could do later. Discuss whether the project can be priced in clear sections, such as the main floor and bedrooms. Ask about the practical effect of splitting the work before deciding.
Preparation should be discussed as part of the finish you want. Ask which correction work is included and what would need a separate allowance. A lower number is only useful if you understand what it leaves out.
Take one wide photo from each corner of a room and a closer photo of any area you want assessed. Add approximate dimensions if you know them, without delaying your enquiry to measure everything. Say what is staying and what is changing.
Use our project checklist to prepare a text, then add your photos and send it to Good Painting.
